今回は、猛暑と台風の中、ママさんのフラワーアレンジショップ兼ドライフラワー乾燥小屋に、当初から計画していた『お手洗い』トイレを増築します。一畳ほどの小さな小部屋ですが、前回までは、ブロックで基礎を作り、床を張り、2×4工法（壁面工法）で壁を作り、屋根を作り、断熱材を入れました。
今回は屋根に防水材のアスファルトルーフィングを貼り、破風と鼻隠しを設置して、ケラバ金物を取り付けて、屋根材アスファルトシングルを張っていきました。
内装は、天井には野地板にペンキを塗ってタッカーで貼り付けました。内壁は断熱材を入れてから構造合板を張りました。その後、木工パテで養生をして今回の作業はここまでです。
今回は材料の多くは、本体を作った余り物で作っています。約2週間ほどの週末の作業をまとめていますのでぜひご覧くださいませ。

Located in the rural town of Hokicho with a view of Mount Daisen, part of the national park in Tottori Prefecture, where the population is the lowest in the country. We’re thoroughly enjoying the laid-back rural lifestyle (countryside resort). While Papa works in IT during weekdays and is passionate about DIY, gardening, and rose cultivation, Mama, engaged in welfare work, has a deep love for flower arrangement and dry flowers. We’re accompanied by our four indoor cats – Ku, Moka, Racto, and Claire – as well as the occasional outdoor cats who visit our garden. We’ll be sharing the everyday life in this tranquil countryside setting. Papa’s DIY projects, particularly the current endeavor of building a Nordic-style dry flower drying shed using 2×4 construction, are a highlight.
