I built a monster storage shelf in my garage last year. It’s nice not having to go to the store every time I want to do a small project. Often when I buy wood, I buy extra and store it for rainy day projects.
Today, my basement is getting overrun with wood scraps that are too big to throw out but I can not spare floor space. So I built a simple and compact trellis that can hold 8 foots down to 2 footers no sweat. I’ve built half a dozen just like this over the years. You might think it’s not very strong but since the load is mostly balanced, it works out just fine. This took me 45 minutes.
